Living in the African Savannah is a big deal, nevertheless; an ancient population named Maasai with astonishing skills, they have learnt how to live in a such hostile environment.
Nowadays, we call the Savannah in the Northern Tanzania and Southern Kenya “Maasai Steppe” in tribute to Maasai that completely rely on natural resources offered by the Steppe.
But, there is a great challenge coming from the most developed part of the world: Climate Change.
So, the water already insufficient is becoming rare but for a cruel twist of fate if you are a Maasai shepherd, you can lose all of your animals, all of your money in a few hours because the rainfall that should fall in a month, it fells in 6 hours.
Therefore, goats, cows and sheep stressed by a long dry season find the death due to a cold!
This is what occured at the slope of Mount Kilimanajaro and Mount Meru (Tanzania) in an infamous night of February; Do you still believe that climate change does not exist?
