There is a farmhouse in the Province of Florence: is Mondeggi Terra Bene Comune.
In 2014 a group of local people, constituited by local farmers and critical consumers, had occupied the building with a dream to do a common (Elinor Ostrom) and practice biological agriculture. They had renewed the place, put into production the land around property and activated a human social network to sell their products in local farmers markets and in ethical purchasing groups. Of course, they are illegal because the building and  the surrounding land it is property of the Province of Florence.
With the support of a National network, called Genuino Clandestino, they fight to obtain a law on identification of “farmer agriculture”. The farmer agriculture consists in a small-scale agriculture (often familiar), without use of industrial chemistry in agriculture process, use of traditional technical on agriculture, transformation of products in their home and the possibilities to sell their products in human economy groups (like farmers markets and ethical purchasing groups).
Mondeggi Terra Bene Comune, with that kind of social structure between farmers and consumers, is a perfect example of relationship between human and nature: it’s a co-production relationship!
Only the time will let us know if this way of common will work; anyway we should remember that social processes come before laws.
